Heather L. Knapp of Colchester has been elected Vermont DeMolay's State Sweetheart.

A member of Burlington Assembly #2, Order of Rainbow, Miss Knapp impressed Vermont's DeMolays with her sincerity, candor and dedication to both DeMolay and Rainbow and to helping foster closer ties between the two groups. She was elected during Vermont DeMolay’s annual Sweetheart Ball in Northfield and will be officially installed in office during the DeMolay Conclave in June.

Miss Knapp, daughter of Larry and Robin Knapp, is a Junior at Essex Tech.

DeMolay is an international fraternal organization for young men ages 12-21, dedicated to teaching leadership and good moral values. The Order of Rainbow is DeMolay's sister organization for young women. Both organizations are part of the Masonic family of organizations.
